About us

SKAIS is an international society that strives for the convergence of lay and professional scientific societies of Central Europe and the World in the field of education, science, and art. The purpose of the association is to bring together the western and eastern countries of Europe: supporting the exchange of knowledge and experience of teachers and young researchers in all types of schools from primary to tertiary, through the production and promotion of publications (journal, internet, translations), symposia, teacher and student mobility, and international granting tasks between Europe and the world.

History

The Internationale Stiftung “Schulung, Kunst, Ausbildung” was founded in 2010 in Fribourg, Switzerland. The founders of this institution were Francois Miche, a member of the Swiss Parliament, Magdalena Kummer, Ferdinand Kummer from Switzerland, Slawomir Mazur from Poland, Beatrice Mazur-Kolecka from the USA, Hirondelle Teinture from France, Vladimír Krčméry and Amantius Akimjak from Slovakia, Jan Otradovec from the Czech Republic, José Garcia Martin from Spain, Iurii Shcherbiak from Ukraine. This scientific-pedagogical institution cooperates with universities, mostly Catholic, in the countries from which the above-mentioned scientific researchers and university teachers come. In 2015, the headquarters of this institution moved to Zurich, Switzerland. Since 2011, this institution publishes the scientific journal “Revue Internationale des Sciences humaines et naturelles” in French, German, Italian and English. After moving its headquarters to Zurich, the journal also bears the English title “International Review for human and natural sciences”, and the Swiss SKAIS is assisted in the production of scientific studies by the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University and the West Ukrainian National University. The aim of this journal is to present research in the field of humanities and natural sciences in Eastern European countries and to lead a professional discussion with Western European countries.
